‘Autumn Memories’ to screen at Prague film festival Thursday

Iranian film ‘Autumn Memories’ will be featured at the Prague Festival of Iranian Films in the Czech Republic.

Iran, the Czech Republic and Ukraine's joint venture 'Autumn Memories' is scheduled to be featured at the Prague festival of Iranian films in the Czech Republic.

According to the the notable film's press advisor, Ali Fakhr Mousavi’s ‘Autumn Memories’ will be screened Thursday at Iranian-Czech Co-production section of the 7th Prague fest.

‘Autumn Memories’ is a joint product of Iran, Ukraine, and the Czech Republic, which started shooting in October 2015 in Ukraine and it was entirely done outside Iran.

The movie is an anti-war love story which depicts the story of a girl whose home and family have been attacked by terrorist groups. As a person who has experienced displacement, blindness and loss of speech, she can ultimately find peace and love in another part of the world along with people who are themselves affected by war.

The movie cast list includes a mix of international actors and actresses, including Nazanin Ahmady Shahpour Abadi, Aleksandr Ignatusha, Galyna Karpin, Oleksa Kravchuk, Dmytro Linartovych, Nazar Regush, Oleksandr Vakulyuk, Olga I. Voytanovich.

The 7th Prague Festival of Iranian Films openning January 9 will be underway till January 14 with the slogan of "Don't be scared!". The event aims to showcase brilliant works of art created by people who do not change themselves to "fit in." They are off the radar of what is "trendy" and what is "important."
